This is a wonderful dessert.I gave a little twist to it.

Coconut balls - brigadeiros with coconut

  • Heat the pan and add grated coconut along with sugar.First saute the coconut and then add sugar.
  • The sugar start melting.Stir continuously.
  • The sugar gets absorbed by the coconut.At that time add semolina and stir well.
  • Add raisins to it and gently fold it.
  • In a tin/mould/a plate,grease with ghee and pour the mixture to it.
  • The mixture is set remain to room temperature.Grease your hands with water and make balls from it.
  • Take the balls and cool for 2 hours in refrigerator.
    Serve by coating with chocolate sauce/icing sugar.

Simple but so yummy

Sounds great. I might have added a hint of cardamom powder & cayenne pepper to it to balance the sweetness & take it to the next level while adding a bit of mystery to this dessert.
