  • Unroll the shortbread dough. Sprinkle white sugar over the entire surface.
  • Roll up the dough again and chill for 10 minutes to harden (it will be easier to cut).
  • Cover the rolled-out shortcrust pastry with brown sugar and pat down so that the sugar sticks to the pastry.
  • Cut slices about 1 cm thick and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place in the oven for 15-20 min at 340°F/170°C. Shortbread should be lightly browned and caramelized. Remove from the oven and leave to cool. All set!
