Oven-baked apples with cinnamon

An incredibly easy recipe to make with apples for dessert! Get soft and delicately flavored fruits with cinnamon :-) Here, you don't need many ingredients! Proof that you can enjoy a lot with just a little :-) Accessible to everyone, even the most novice among you will succeed in this recipe with flying colors!

Put the butter in a bowl and melt it for a few seconds in the microwave.
Add the cinnamon, brown sugar, and mix.
Peel the apples (if they are not organic) and hollow them out.
Place the apples in a baking dish and brush them with the butter/brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350°F/180°C.
Baste the apples from time to time during cooking.
Enjoy them as soon as they come out of the oven :-)
Observations
Apples: If they are organic, there is no need to peel them. You can cut off the top of the apple (like in a stuffed tomato recipe), hollow them out, and then replace the cap before cooking. This will give a nice presentation. Remember to poke them in a few places with a fork so they don't burst during cooking.
