Preheat the oven to 390°F/200°C. Peel and cut the apples into small pieces. Place them in a large bowl.
Using a pestle, chop the walnuts and then mix them with the apples. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and mix. Set aside.
Mix the eggs with the remaining sugar, add the cinnamon, baking powder, and flour. Then, add the oil. Mix well.
Incorporate this mixture into the apple and walnut mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and bake for 50 minutes at 390°F/200°C.
