Air fryer cinnamon apple chips
For a healthy and delicious snack, opt for cinnamon apple chips at the Air Fryer! :-) Crispy and very little sweet, these chips will be absolutely perfect for a healthy snack, thanks to cooking in the Air Fryer, where very little fat is required. You can also enjoy them for breakfast, for example, accompanied by yogurt, in short the possibilities are endless! Follow the recipe steps below ↓↓
Ingredients
Materials
- Mandolin (or knife)
- Air Fryer (here Ninja Foodi Flex 10.4 L AF500EU)
- Oil spray (or brush)
Preparation
- Wash then cut the apples using a mandolin (or very thin, with a knife). Remove the seeds.
- Arrange the slices on the work surface or a board.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle the mixture over the slices.
- Lightly oil the Air Fryer, you can use a spray or a brush. Arrange the apples next to each other in the tray.
- Turn on the Air Fryer and put it in Airfry mode at 300°F (150°C) in multi-zone for 15 minutes.
- Flip the apples to the tray approximately every 5 minutes.
- Cook longer if you want crunchier chips. And now, it's ready!
Observations
How to store cinnamon apple chips?
Store them in an airtight container at room temperature. You can keep them for up to 3 days.
If you want to make this recipe with 3 apples, you will need to cook them one at a time (you will need to line the bottom of the tray and not overlap the slices).
For 1 apple, you will need to sprinkle first with sugar then with a little cinnamon.
