Ingredients

Number of serving: 4
Chicken pieces - 1/2 kg

Tomato - 2 nos (finely chopped)

Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)

Green chillies - 2 nos (finely chopped)

Ginger - 1 inch (chopped)

Garlic - 2 cloves (chopped)

Curry leaves

Salt to taste

Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Preparation

  • Heat oil in pan, add the chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, saute till it turns brown.
  • Add onion and saute till it turns soft. Now add the chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, chicken pieces, salt and little water and let it boil for sometime. Simmer and cook it the chicken becomes tender and completely cooked.
  • Saute at regular interval till all the water evaporates and the gravy appears thick. Serve hot.
