- Clean the crabs,only body and claws are used.
- Cut the onions into chunks. Grind onion,garlic,ginger a fine paste.
- Heat oil on medium heat and add onion past.Fry till the onion paste turn brown.
- Now add crab fry for 2 minutes.Now add some water over the crabs or sufficient to just cover it.
- Now add turmeric powder,chilli powder,garam masal powder,Jaggery and salt.
- Cover and cook over moderate heat till the crabs are cooked well and the gravy is thickness to your required consistency.
- Now add the egg and mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with plain rice.
