- Dry roast moong dal till golden brown or till you get sense of the aroma.
- Pressure cook moong dal to soft consistency.
- Wash the sago and add into moong dal and cook until sago cooked well done.
- Add the jaggery, bring to boil and keep for 2 minutes.
- Add cardamom powder, milk and keep it for few seconds; adjust consistency as per your requirement.
- Fry the raisins and cashews and add it finally .
- The mouth watering Pasi paruppu payasam is ready to serve.
