Ingredients

4 servings
- Cooked potatoes-1 up

- Carrot(chopped)-1/2 cup

- Green peas-1/4 cup

- Oats-1/4 cup

- Onion(chopped)-1no

- Green chillies(chopped)-1 teaspoons

- Fennel seed-1/2 teaspoons

- Red chilly powder-1/2 teaspoon

- Garam masala powder-1/2 teaspoons

- Salt-to taste

- Oil-2 teaspoons

- Oats (for crust)-1/4 cup

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil and splutter fennel seeds. Add onion and green chillies and saute till the onions are golden brown.

Step 2

Dry roast 1/4 cup of oats till crisp and let it cool. Add carrot, green peas and saute for a minute.

Step 3

Add red chilly powder, garam masala, roasted oats and salt and give a nice stir.

Step 4

When the veggies are 3/4th cooked add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Remove from flame.

Step 5

Let it cool a little. Divide the potato masal into small sized balls.

Step 6

Shape them into cutlets. Grease a baking tray and arrange the cutlets on the tray.

Step 7

Bake at 180C for 20 minutes. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
