1 box yellow cake mix

1 small box instant vanilla pudding

1 box instant butterscotch pudding

1 cup water

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup finely chopped nuts

1 tablespoon cinnamon


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13X9 inch baking pan.
  • Combine all ingredients for topping and set aside.
  • Combine all batter ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat on medium speed for 4 minutes.
  • Pour 1/2 the batter into the prepared pan and spread to cover. Sprinkle with 1/2 the topping.
  • Cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining topping.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake 35-40 minutes longer or until toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean. Makes 15 servings.
