Peanut butter, chocolate oatmeal bars ( no bake)

A very easy snack bar. Prefect for any time of the day.


Number of serving: 4
1 cup Peanut Butter

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup bran oil ( or can substitute with butter)

1 cup shredded coconut

2 cups old fashioned oats

1/2 cup chopped dry fruits

1 1/4 cups dark chocolate chips or chocolate syrup

1 tsp Vanilla extract


  • Grease a pan and keep aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt the peanut butter, oil and honey. Be very careful as it does have a tendency to get burnt. Stir continuously till melted.
  • Remove from heat and to this melted mix add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour this mix to the greased pan and refrigerate till set. If you would like to have thick bars, pour them into smaller pans.
  • Serve cold or at room temperature.
