Why not write a beautiful love letter to your partner for Valentine's Day? Not inspired? Let's keep the idea of a letter, but this one will be edible! It transforms into jam that will slide into envelope-shaped cookies, sealed with a lovely heart. Not bad, right?! Easier to make than writing a letter and guaranteed to impress ;-) Plus, you only need 2 ingredients! Incredible ;-) Follow the step-by-step instructions to create these treats and the folding technique that will give you this lovely result.

Ingredients

• 1 shortcrust pastry
• Strawberry jam

Materials

• baking sheet, parchment paper, rolling pin, cookie cutter

Preparation

• Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  Unroll the shortcrust pastry and cut squares that are 7 cm wide.
• Use the leftover dough to form little hearts.
  
• Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a diamond shape ♦
  Spread some strawberry jam in the center.
• Fold the bottom corner towards the center, then do the same with the left and right corners.
  Seal everything with a heart made of dough.
  
• Bake the cookies for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
• And there you have it! Your letters are ready to be gifted to your loved one!
