Cheese ball appetizers
Looking for an appetizer idea that's a change from potato chips? These cheese balls are ready in just a few minutes and always make an impression. Made with ricotta and Parmesan, they're fresh, melt-in-the-mouth and infinitely customizable: roll them in paprika, fresh herbs, seeds or even crushed walnuts, as you like. Serve them skewered with a small pretzel for a guaranteed wow effect on the table! What's more, you can prepare them in advance. Perfect for a festive aperitif ;)

For garnish:
Preparation
Mix ricotta and Parmesan. Season to taste with pepper and oregano.
Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Shape into balls: here I used 1 tablespoon of mixture to make one ball.
Roll the balls in the filling of your choice. Paprika, for example.
Another example: fresh basil leaves. Place basil leaves in a glass or bowl, cut into small pieces with scissors. Place the ball in the container and shake to roll the ball in the mixture and coat.
Plant stick-shaped pretzels inside and arrange on a pretty plate. Ready for the aperitif :-)
