Apricot cake
The secret ingredient for a perfect summer day? Apricot ! Yes, apricot season is here ! Why don't you make an apricot cake to celebrate ?
Materials
- Cake mold (11 inches diameter)
Preparation

Preheat your oven on grill mode to 350°F. Put the brown sugar in a greased mold. Bake 5 min until the sugar melts.

Clean appricots and cut them in halves. Remove the pits and put them in the mold.

Mix the eggs + sugar + vanilla sugar.

Add flour + baking powder + salt + almond meal and mix well. Add melted butter and mix.

Pour the batter on top of the apricots.

Bake 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).

Let cool and unmold. There you are, your apricot cake is ready !

Observations:
You can replace almond meal with pistachio meal or nut meal.
