  • Soak the dal in water for about 2 hours.
  • Grind the dal, Jeera, Red Chillies and Curry leaves to a coarse paste without adding water.
  • Take care that the paste is coarse and not fine.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients.

    Mix well.
  • Wet you palm with little water and make round shaped Vadai's and drop them gently into hot oil.
  • Fry them well on both sides till golden brown on medium flame.
  • Crispy Kadala Parippu Vada is ready to be served!
