Roasted chickpeas with curry (baked chickpeas)

- Wash and soak chickpeas in water overnight. Pressure cook chickpeas, onions, green chillies with little salt and 1 1/2 cup of water till 10 whistles in medium flame.
- The chickpeas should become soft and we should be able to squeeze it with our fingers. Keep it aside.
- Then heat oil in a large pan and add mustard seeds. When the mustard start to crackle, lower the flame and add coriander powder, chilly powder, garam masala and turmeric and saute till the raw smell goes.
- Then add cooked chickpeas along with water. Boil it for sometime until the gravy become bit thick. Then add salt and curry leaves.
- Finally add thick coconut milk. Remove from flame after 5 minutes.
