Today, we're taking you to Brazil to taste one of its typical dishes: "Sardinas guisadas". A stew combining sunny flavors in an easy and inexpensive recipe, what more could you ask for? A good idea that will surprise the taste buds of the whole family when you lack inspiration for your daily meals ;-)

Ingredients

½ onion
1 small green bell pepper
2 tomatoes
8 oz canned sardines (bout 2 cans)
Salt to taste
Tabasco to taste
⅓ cup + 1 tbsp coconut milk
Fresh parsley to taste

Cook time20 min

Put a little oil (from the can of sardines) in the pan.
Slice the bell pepper, tomatoes and onion. Place these ingredients in a sauté pan, one on top of the other, alternating.
Add the sardines on top.
Season with a pinch of salt and a few drops of Tabasco.
Place a lid on the pan and cook over low heat for around 15 minutes, until the vegetables are cooked and slightly firm at the same time.
Add the coconut milk and chopped parsley.
When the mixture comes to the boil, remove from the heat.
Add a few sprigs of fresh parsley on top and serve immediately: enjoy!
