For the Sardine Filling 1 small tin of sardine (155g - drain the sauce) 3 shallots (sliced thinly) 1 tsp chilly powder 2 tbsp olive oil salt to taste
Other Ingredients 10 slices of bread (remove crust) 2 eggs ( beaten)
When oil is heated, saute the onions for 2-3 min and then add in the sardine. Stir while breaking the sardines into smaller pieces. Add salt to taste and keep frying until the sardines are brown in colour. Remove from heat and let it cool down. Into a slice of bread, add about 1 tsp of the fried sardine and gently roll over. Dip into the egg and seal the ends. Grease the baking tray and place all the rolls on top. Bake at 200C and remove once you notice the rolls are brown in colour.
