Wash and dice the red onion and red bell pepper. Drizzle some olive oil in a hot pan. Sauté the red onions.
Add the red bell pepper and sauté. Then add the ground beef, salt, and pepper, and cook everything for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
Pour in the tomato sauce and let it reduce for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
Cut the tortillas in half. Place the half-circle in front of you with the rounded side facing up. Then place a large spoonful of the filling on the right side of the tortilla.
Fold the rounded edge inward. Then fold the lower right corner up to the left. Fold the triangle down to the left.
Seal the samosa by tucking the left edge of the tortilla inside.
Grill the samosas and remove them when they are golden (about 1 to 2 minutes).
And there you have it, your samosa tacos are ready!
Observations
Can we modify the filling of the tacos?
Absolutely. You can make a vegetarian filling by replacing the ground meat with lentils.
You can also create a filling with seafood like shrimp.
Feel free to try with another meat like chicken.
Add cheese for extra gooey and delicious samosas.
Anything is possible... So have fun!
