Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
Spinach 6 bunches

Garlic cloves 5

Pearl Onions 10

Mustard and Urat dal 1 teaspoon each

Red chillies 3

Tomato 1 medium

Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Heat pan .Add cleaned and washed spinach , sprinkle little water and cover with a lid . Cook till done and keep aside.
  • Meanwhile , heat a pan . Add a spoon of oil , once hot , add chopped tomato,garlic and red chillies and saute till tender.
  • Once done , allow it to cool and keep aside. Then , grind spinach with this mixture and little salt .Add very less water.
  • Temper it with Mustard , Urat dal , Red Chillies and Onion .
  • Serve hot with Rice / Roti / Idli /Dosa .
