Aperitif cheese spread in the shape of pumpkins, perfect for halloween!
Want to give your Halloween party a surprise right from the start? These pumpkin-shaped cheese balls are as cute as they are easy to make! Simply mix ricotta and parmesan, season to taste, shape into balls, roll in paprika for color, and add a pretzel stick for the pumpkin tail. Draw a few lines with a knife or string and you've got an original aperitif, ready to spread ;)

Mix ricotta, grated Parmesan cheese, pepper and oregano (season to taste).
Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Scoop out a tablespoon of mixture and shape into a ball with your hands. Repeat with remaining mixture.
Put paprika in a bowl, place the ball in the bowl and cover completely.
Put the black sesame seeds in another bowl, place another ball in it and cover it completely.
To make the cheese ball look like a pumpkin, you'll need to hollow it out using kitchen string. Start by making a line down the middle, then cross it to form a cross.
Draw two more diagonal lines.
Press lightly on top center to flatten pumpkin. Plant a piece of pretzel in the center, and voilà! All you have to do is enjoy them with crackers :-)
