Asian tacos: spicy salmon tartar and avocado in rice paper chips
If you were looking for a highly original alternative to tacos , you won't be disappointed with this variation ;) No tortillas here, but light, crispy fried rice paper sheet chips, which host a salmon tartar seasoned with mayonnaise, soy sauce and a little sriracha. Diced avocado adds sweetness, while sesame seeds and a sprinkling of chives add the finishing touch. The contrast is perfect: the crispness of the chips, the mellowness of the tartar and the pep of the sauce. A quick, original recipe, ideal for a chic aperitif, a refreshing starter or a light meal to share. Eat immediately to enjoy the crispiness :)

Observations
How to store Asian tacos after preparation?
To keep the rice chips crisp, we recommend topping and eating them immediately after preparation. If you need to store them, place the salmon mixture and avocado in airtight containers in the fridge, and the chips in an airtight container at room temperature.
Can I use other fish instead of salmon?
Yes, you can use other fish such as tuna or even seafood, but make sure they are fresh and of good quality for a tasty tartare. Remember to freeze and thaw fish before use.
Why use frozen salmon?
It's essential to use salmon (or any other fish) that has been frozen and then thawed, or salmon that has been frozen and then thawed, to avoid any risk.
How to thaw salmon?
Place your fish in the fridge the day before use :-). If you're in a hurry, you can defrost in the microwave or place the freezer bag containing your fish in warm-hot water.
How to make this recipe vegetarian?
For a vegetarian version, replace the salmon with marinated tofu or crunchy vegetables like cucumber and carrot, keeping the mayonnaise and sauces for flavor.
What garnishes to add?
You can add cucumber for a touch of freshness. If you want a sweet-savory touch, you can add mango, pomegranate or passion fruit.
How to improve the sauce?
Add ginger and lime, for example!
