DrumSticks are mostly used in sambar and curries. But I am going to post a different recipe using drumstick. I hope U will like this recipe.

  • Drum Stick Patoli - Preparation step 1First clean and soak yellow spilt moongdal for 3-4 hrs.
  • Drum Stick Patoli - Preparation step 2Now heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and fry drumstick pieces by sprinkling small amount of water.
  • Drum Stick Patoli - Preparation step 3Mean while grind soaked moong dal, ginger, greenchillies into a smooth paste.
  • Drum Stick Patoli - Preparation step 4When drumsticks cooked take it aside. Now again heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add above paste and salt cook for 3-5 minutes.
  • Drum Stick Patoli - Preparation step 5Now add cooked drumsticks ,1 tsp of oil and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Drum Stick Patoli - Preparation step 6Drumstick patoli is ready serve it hot with rice.

Nice dish,i like it very much and easy preparation also nutritious

No need two times separate frying. Just one time fry with liking spices add to gather drumstick and mung daal. Add water 2.5 to 3 times mung daal by volume. Pressure cook for three whistle at medium flame. Done.
