Green papaya salad

Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
One 2 1/2 to 3 lb green papaya

3 tablespoons fish sauce

4 chopped cloves of garlic

2 medium tomatoes


3 par boiled long beans

1 green onion stalk

4 mint leaves

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white pepper

1 tablespoon Honey

2 tablespoons crushed peanuts

1 Hawaiian or Thai chili pepper

Preparation

  • Chop your papaya into thin long strips. A grater with the ability to shave off strips is the best.
  • Squeeze limes into papaya slivers. Throw in your chopped garlic, par-boiled long beans, chopped mint, fish sauce, chili pepper, green onions, salt, pepper, honey, and sliced tomatoes.
  • Mix throughly and let sit in refrigerator for three to four hours.
  • Before you eat, sprinkle crushed peanuts and decorate in center with two or three whole mint leaves.
  • You can also add some sliced boiled shrimp on top. Serve on a bed of lettuce on individual plates.
