Preparation
Pat the cod fillet with paper towels to remove excess moisture (this way the breadcrumbs will adhere better to the meat).
Cut the cod fillet into sticks about the same size.
Beat the egg in a bowl and add salt and black pepper.
Dip the cod pieces in the flour, using tongs to facilitate the process.
Then into the bowl with the beaten egg.
Finally, coat evenly with the breadcrumbs, making sure they adhere well over the entire surface (it will be easier using your hands!).
Place the fish fingers in the basket of the airfryer, lined with baking paper, and spray with oil. Bake at 370°F/190°C for 10 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
