Medium bunches of kang kong keerai

1 teaspoon jeera

1/2 cup mysore dhall

1 small onion chopped

1 chopped green chilli

1 tomato chopped

2 garlic cloves chopped

1/3 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon oil

salt to taste

Preparation

  • Wash and drain the keerai and keep aside.
  • In a pressure cooker add the keerai,dhall,tomato,garlic,salt ,turmeric powder and 1/2 cup water,cook it upto 2-3 whistles.
  • Meanwhile in a pan heat the oil ,fry the onion and chilli,keep aside.
  • Once the keerai cooked well transfer the tempering into the keerai.
  • Serve with rice.
