- Mix crumbs and flour.
- Add suet and raisins.
- Chop the figs and add to mixture with fig syrup.
- Add milk to moisten, and beat to mix.
- Pour into a bowl of pudding with butter and cover with paper, cloth or plastic film.
- Place in a steamer and boil / steam for 3-3 1/2 hours.
