  • Marbled muffins - Preparation step 1Whisk the eggs with the sugar. Add the yogurt and mix. Incorporate the flour and baking powder. Add the melted butter.
  • Marbled muffins - Preparation step 2Divide the batter into two portions: in the first portion, add the cocoa powder and mix well.

Observations

Can these muffins be made lactose-free?
Replace the butter with the same amount of oil (such as sunflower oil) and use a plant-based yogurt: we used soy and almond yogurt.

The chocolate spread is optional but adds a delightful touch. Feel free to poke a hole in the top of your muffin and add some chocolate spread inside.
