Air-fryer shrimp bites (spring roll style)
vote now
How about some crispy little bites to dip in a creamy, slightly spicy sauce? These spring roll-style shrimp bites are filled with a flavorful mixture of garlic, green onion, soy sauce, and sesame oil. The filling is rolled in rice paper wrappers, cut into bite-sized pieces, then cooked in the air fryer with a little oil. The result is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—perfect for snacking at aperitif time. Serve them with a simple yogurt, honey, and sriracha sauce for just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Serve them straight from the air fryer to enjoy them at their crispiest! ;)

Finely chop the raw, peeled shrimp.
Then mix them with the cornstarch, sesame oil, soy sauce, crushed garlic clove, chopped green onion (the green part only), salt, and pepper.
Soak the rice paper sheets in cold water for a few minutes before use to rehydrate them and soften them.
Place the filling on a rice paper wrapper and roll it up to form a roll.
Cut the roll with scissors into small bite-sized pieces, and repeat with the rest of the filling.
Place the small bites in the air fryer basket and spray them with oil.
Cook in the air fryer for 16 to 18 minutes at 390°F/200°C in air fry mode. Flip (or shake the basket) halfway through cooking.
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce:
Mix together the plain yogurt, garlic powder, honey, mayonnaise, and Sriracha sauce.
Enjoy the appetizers with the sauce: they're delicious!
