Baked lemon chicken

This is a very simple recipe to make, quick and convenient for family meals. It takes no time to prepare and cooks itself in the oven without dirtying the kitchen. In half an hour, your meal is ready! You can serve these lemon breasts with basmati rice, quinoa, pasta, steamed vegetables, or a salad. You choose. Are you in? :)

In a bowl, mix melted butter, lemon juice, 2 chopped garlic cloves, parsley, and thyme.
In a baking dish, pour the previous mixture and spread it over the base. Place the 4 chicken breasts on top.
Season with salt and pepper. Add a few sprigs of thyme and drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts.
Gently crush the 4 whole garlic cloves with the blade of a knife (without crushing them completely). Add them to the dish along with the lemon slices (to taste).
Bake for 20 minutes at 390°F (200°C) (with fan).
Sprinkle some more chopped parsley on top and serve with basmati rice. A delight! :)
