Okra pepper salt

Ingredients

• Okra - 100 g
• Chopped Onion - 1,medium
• Green chillies - 2
• Garlic cloves - 4
• Corn flour -2 teaspoons
• All purpose flour -1 tablespoon
• Spring onion - 2 stalks
• Freshly grounded pepper -1 teaspoon
• Salt to taste
• Egg - 1
• Oil for frying

Preparation

• Cut the okra diagonally and keep it aside. In a bowl mix together all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon cornflour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper power and egg. Add okra to this and mix well.
• Heat oil in a pan.Roll the okra mixture to the remaining corn flour and deep fry it.
• In a pan heat 1 tablespoon oil and saute chopped onion,garlic and green chillies till the onion become soft.
• Add the fried okra, pepper powder and salt. Garnish with spring onion. Serve hot as an appetizer or serve with rice .
