Spicy cucumber salad with peanuts
vote now
Cucumber salad that's a little different from the classic versions? This one's got everything you need to wake up your taste buds. Fresh, crunchy and just the right amount of spice, it's an ultra-addictive balance of flavors! The cucumber brings all its freshness, while the peanuts and sesame add crunch. But the real twist is the hot chili oil poured over the garlic and spices, which intensely perfumes the salad. A little lemon for acidity, a touch of honey for sweetness... and you've got a perfectly balanced mix ;)

Wash and thinly slice the cucumber. It's best to slice diagonally to obtain large oval slices.
Cut cucumber slices into thin sticks.
*You can also roughly chop the cucumbers and then crush them, or cut them into spirals.
Place the cucumber sticks in a bowl and add the chopped peanuts and sesame seeds (you can also add peanut purée).
Place the chilli, minced garlic and salt (or soy sauce) in a small bowl.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour the hot oil over the previous mixture.
Add lemon juice (or rice vinegar) and honey (or brown sugar) and mix well.
Add the chilli oil to the bowl.
Mix well.
And now it's ready!
FAQ ❓
