Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
1/2 pkt tater tots (the flavour you prefer)

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon urad dal

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

Salt to taste

(the potatoes are already seasoned, so add little salt to suit your taste), oil -3 tsp (or more)

Preparation

  • Microwave the desired amount of potatoes for a minute.
  • Add oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds. Add urad dal and roast till golden.
  • Add the potatoes. add salt, turmeric, chilli powder.
    Roast till crisp and golden on medium flame.
  • It is ok if a couple of them break while stirring/sauteing.
