Beerakaya senaga pappu kura / ridgegourd with channa dal curry

- Wash channa dal and soak in water for half an hour. Wash and peel skin of the ridge gourd and cut into small pieces.
 - Heat a oil in a pressure cooker pan.When oil is hot add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, they pops up now add hing,green chilis and curry leaves fry for 1 minutes.
 - Now add onions fry for 3 minutes,add tomato pieces and soaked channa dal fry for 5 minutes.
 - Now add ridge gourd pieces mix well and add turmeric powder,chilli pwder,salt to it mix well.
 - Now add 1/2 cup of water mix well and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
 - Wait till the pressure goes off.
 - Serve with rice or roti.
