- Grind onions, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and green chilies to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add the bayleaf and cloves and cook for 20 seconds. Add in the ground paste and cook for 5 minutes or until the oil seperates.
- Add in the cumin powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Mix well. Add the mutton pieces and stir well to coat the spices. Add the coconut milk to the mutton mixer and mix.
- Check for salt.close the lid and leave upto 5 whistles.
- When the pressure is released, open the lid and add in the pepper powder and coriander leaves.
- Cook it for another 5 to 7 minutes until the water evaporates and becomes dry.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
