Malted milk ball pie

1 prepared chocolate cookie crust

1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt

1 1/2 cups half and half

1/3 cup chocolate malted milk powder

3/4 cup mini chocolate chips

1 teapoon vanilla

1- 8 ounce container Cool Whip-thawed

1/2 cup Whoppers- crushed

1/2 cup Whoppers-cut in half


  • Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and whisk in the dry ingredients. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, stirring constantly, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until the chocolate chips are melted and smooth.
  • Refrigerate for about 1/2 hour. Gently fold in Cool Whip and crushed Whoppers until well incorporated.
  • Spoon filling into prepared pie crust. Top with halved Whoppers. Chill.
