Mysore fried chicken


- 1.5 kg chicken pieces, remove skin
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 green chillies sliced
- 1 red chili
- 2 tablespoons coriander powder
- 1 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 10 stalks coriander leaves chopped
- 2 cups water
- 8 tablespoons oil
- salt to taste


Step 1

Combine chicken with all the ingredients except oil and 1 cup water in a big bowl.

Step 2

Heat oil, add chicken, fry till fragrant. Add 1 cup water, cover and cook until chicken is dry and tender using low heat, stir in between.

Step 3

Garnish with coriander leaves at the time of serving.
