Delicious and easy fish cakes

Ingredients

Number of serving: 5
1/2 hot pepper, finely sliced

a bunch of parsley, finely chopped

200 g potatoes, grated

2 big carrots, grated


500 g fish fillet

2 tablespoons olive oil

200 g breadcrumbs

1 garlic clove, minced

salt

pepper

oil for frying

Preparation

  • A bowl mix the hot pepper, parsley, carrots, garlic and the grated potatoes.
  • Cut the fish fillet in small pieces, then add it over the vegetables and mix.
  • Then add the eggs, olive oil and breadcrumbs, season with salt and pepper to taste and mix.
  • The next step is to lightly shape and pat into circles about 2cm thick.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the fish cakes over a medium heat for about 5 mins on each side or until crisp and golden. Serve warm. Enjoy!
