- In a big pot, fry the minced onion in some butter.
- Add the pieces of pumpkin. Fry a few minutes.
- Cover with water and bring to boil. Then, put on medium heat and leave to cook for 30 minutes.
- Put everything in a blender. Heat the cream, and add it to the mix. Blend until it gets smooth. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Serve and there you are, your pumpkin velvet soup is ready !
