Planning a picnic? Make some spring rolls! An easy recipe to make, with no cooking required ;-) Here, we decided to combine sweet and savory flavors by mixing smoked salmon with green apple. You can also cut them into small pieces and serve them to your guests as appetizers!

3 slices of smoked salmon
1 green apple
4 rice paper wrappers
8 parsley leaves
2 lettuce leaves

Preparation

Prepare your ingredients so that everything is within reach when you're ready to fill the rice paper wrappers.
Apple: peel and slice it.
Lettuce and parsley: rinse and drain.
Salmon: cut into small pieces or strips.
Put hot water in a pie dish. Soak a rice paper wrapper for a few seconds, until it softens, then place it on a flat surface (countertop or cutting board).
Arrange the filling near the top edge of the rice paper wrapper so it's easier to roll up.
Proceed as follows: lettuce / parsley / smoked salmon / apple.
Once the filling is in place, roll up the wrapper, folding the sides inward so that the filling doesn't escape.
Repeat the process with the remaining rice paper wrappers.
Serve the rolls as they are or cut them in half.
