Paneer 1/2 inch cubes - 1 cup

Tomatoes, seeded and chopped - 1 medium

Oil - 1 Tbsp

Green Pepper, seeded and chopped - 1 medium

Onion - Chopped Thin and Long - 1 small

Yogurt, whisked - 1/2 cup

Water - 2 Tbsp

Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp

Gram flour - 1 tbsp

Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon

Dry fenugreek leaves - 1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt- To taste

Whole wheat flour - 1 cup

Water - 1/4 cup

Salt-To taste


  • Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade in a deep bowl.
  • Add Paneer and tomatoes and toss lightly. Set aside to marinate for 30-40 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add Onions and Green Pepper and sauté for 4-5 minutes on medium high flame.
  • Add the paneer mixture and sauté over high heat for four to five minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook till dry and set aside.
  • For chapattis -Combine all the ingredients and knead into soft dough. Divide the dough into six equal portions. Roll out each portion into a thin chapatti.
  • Heat a Tawa and cook each chapatti on both sides with some oil on both sides. Set aside.
  • Divide the Paneer tikka filling into six equal portions. Place one portion of the filling in the center of each chapatti and roll up tightly.
