Cut the pastry into 8 rectangles of the same size.
Spread some cream on 4 of them.Add 1/2 slice of ham and some grated cheese.
Cover with another rectangle of pastry, and seal the edges with a fork.
Brush with beaten egg, and stripe the top of each pastry with a knife.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
There you are, your ham and cheese pastries are ready!
