Italian style burger: pesto, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella
A homemade burger is always better, isn’t it? Here’s proof with our recipe for Italian-flavored burgers! Pesto sauce, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella... delicious "made in" Italy ingredients that we love to combine between 2 slices of burger bread with a good beef patty. A super easy recipe to make, and don't forget to serve it with homemade fries! ;-)

Prepare the burger buns (or use ready-made ones). Cut a bun in half and brown the inner sides in the pan if desired.
Spread the pesto sauce on both inner sides of the bun. Place sundried tomatoes on the bottom half of the bun.
Grill the pancetta in a hot pan.
In the pan, pour the olive oil and cook the beef patty. When you flip it, season with salt and pepper, and add the mozzarella on top so that it has time to melt.
Assemble the burger: on the layer of sundried tomatoes, place the beef patty and melted mozzarella, the grilled pancetta, the lettuce, and close the bun. It's ready!
Observations
You can make the burger buns yourself.
You can also grill the buns by cutting them in half and placing them cut-side down on a hot pan for a few minutes. Your burger will be crispier.
Cook the ground steak to your taste.
